I celebrate Christmas with my family.

My best Christmas was when a mysterious bag full of gifts showed up at my Mom's (she did not have much money). We never did find out who sent it. The Christmases with my kids are awesome too, they get sooo excited. I love making them happy!

Happy Holidays everyone!

I celebrate Christmas. It's my most favorite time of year. I have a favorite memory that could be straight out of a Griswold Family movie. My dad had cut down a tree on my neighbor's front lawn during the summer months, it was a pine/spruce,one of those. He dragged it into the woods behind our house and we never thought about it again. When Christmas came he made a big to do about this great tree he got at a lot for $50. So we decorated the tree. Two days later ALL, yes ALL of the needles had fallen off! He finally admitted that he brought the tree in that he had cut down months before. If you looked up cheap in the dictionary my dad's picture would be next to it!
Happy Holidays

I celebrate Christmas with family and friends. :)

One of my favorite Christmas memories was when my little brother (this was like 1989) got one of those Power Wheel fire trucks, and my sister got the Barbie Corvette Power Wheel. My brother got into her car and drove it straight into the Christmas tree. My dad kind of caught it on video, all you see is my brother taking off, my dad saying "oh shit!" and the camera falling and the tree crashing. :) We love to watch that video lol.

Great contest and happy holidays to you! :D

I celebrate Christmas with my family!

I think the best memory I have of Christmas is when I was around six-seven years old. My family always traveled to Denver to be with family over the holidays, and one year we were there, and of course, my parents couldn't pack presents with us on the two day car trip, so they'd have to do the shopping in Denver. I think this year we were late in arriving due to a blizzard in Wyoming, so they couldn't go shopping before Christmas Eve, when we opened presents. That night, we had only family gifts to open and we were curious why Santa had forgotten us, but remembered our cousins. I remember waking up the next morning to my mom saying, look girls, Santa came to visit again! I just remember being so excited that Santa hadn't actually forgotten us. Also, our whole family was there, and it hasn't been that way in a while now, so it's a doubly precious memory.

Hey sweets!
I celebrate christmas too and my best xmas ever was the one where my mom was allowed to get home early and she was home at 7pm(should have been till 10pm). For clarification, in Germany we get our presents on Xmas Eve in the late afternoon. I was always the only kid who got the presents after 11pm cuz my mom has to work that day nearly every year(this year too =( . And you know how impatient kiddies can be!
Hope you all have a great xmas!

My best Christmas memory is from one year when all my family got together and we started playing cards, and at the middle of the game it looked like I was winning and I started to laugh so hard because of it that I got tears in my eyes, and I didn't stop laughing until 1 hour later. Since then nobody in my family wants to play cards mith me. By the way, at the end I won everyone.

Happy holidays!

I celebrate Christmas. I actually like Christmas Eve better, though, because that's when we go to church and have a candlelight ceremony where we sing carols. Then we all go back home and open presents from the family and eat cake.

I celebrate Christmas :) Birthdays don't count right? LOL

Best memory? when I stuck my hand inside the oven (it was off of course lol with just enough heat left to warm the Turkey inside) and told my cousin I was going to eat one of the potatoes and NOT a pineapple (the garnish) which I'd been picking off and I'd grabbed something, chewed it and said "this potato tastes a lot like a pineapple, I like it". Cousin took what was left of what I bit on my hand and said, "idiot, that's because it IS a pineapple".

lmao lame I know but I always laugh when I think about it.

So, is this contest open to Canada? If it is, count me in! :) I love Melissa Marr! :)

I celebrate Christmas, and my best holiday memory was one Christmas in particular because my aunt and uncle (who I hadn't seen in years) came and spent Christmas with us. said aunt is my favorite aunt, and it was just a ton of fun spending it with her and my uncle! :) Plus, she makes some wicked Christmas cookies! :):)

And My Best Holiday Memory is going to my aunt's house and having to dress up as Santa so my little cousins (they were 3 and 4)would still believe in it. I did it because my other cousin( who is a pain in the ass) told the little ones that Santa didn't exist.
Until today ( this happened 4 years ago) they ask me to be Santa every Christimas.

Merry Christmas! ^^

My favorite memory was my mom buying a Barbie dollhouse set for me. it was great because I've never had one before. And it was the first toy I've received cause my parents believed in homemade gifts :)

I love decorating the tree and the smell of the house. Nothing beats sugar cookies and pine!

Please count me in.

Hey Smexy!
I celebrate Christmas with my family.

My best memory was when I was 11 (think 1996), my father was an over the road truck driver and he came home in Feb with a HUGE box. He put it in the closet and told me and my brother it was not any of our business what it was. We would have killed to know what was in that box. So Christmas comes around and for once Dad is home (he didn't get to spend more than a month or two a year with us and hardly ever on holidays). On Christmas morning that huge box was taken out of the closet. Dad asked "Who's been good this year?" My hand shot in the air and my brother just looked defeated. He was 13 and spent most of his time in trouble. So Dad hands me the big box and it was awesome! Inside was a b*tchin stero - two tape decks, a cd player, detachable speakers, radio the works. It was the coolest thing they had ever bought me. (as a child all I ever did was read and listen to music) My brother was SO upset. My dad told him "And this is for you." my brother had asked for a basketball goal all year. It was a tiny little flat peice of cardboard wit a picture of a basketball goal. He was crushed. Crying and so upset my Dad told him to go put the gifts for our grandparents in the truck outside. Tears, snot, sobbing the whole bit. Dad almost runs me down to get on the porch so he can see my brother. In the back of the truck where he had to put the presents was the basketball goal. My brother did the emotional 180 and was whooping and laughing and so happy. I have never seen him so pleased. That is still the memory of my family I hold dear.

I am going to say my favorite memory of Christmas is the last Christmas that my son spent at home. He left
home 3 years ago at 17 and he died this year...We plan to be away for the holiday this year....trying to change things up..thinking it might make it easier.

My favorite memory, my old cat caught a mouse just before the whole family was coming. So mom locked Willow in her room with the mouse. We opened the door later that night, Willow caught the mouse & well left it on moms bedspread...which was ice blue...now it included mouse and red spots. I know, i'm sick but Moms face was priceless! lol

My family celebrates Christmas and I have to say the most memorable one I had was when we went down to Key West Florida to have Christmas with my family down there. I actually got a gift that year that I don't know how I existed without - a digital camera. But it was a great trip and a lot of fun and much nicer weather than what we get up here in Chicago around Xmas!

Alright, this is my favorite Christmas memory (only because we still laugh about it today.. well my cousin doesn't :D)

A few few few years back my aunt and two cousins were living with us. And Christmas was going to be a big thing because we were going to have little kids again. As my sister and I had gotten to big to make much fuss over anything. So the whole family is in town, dinners cooking away, people are drinking.. when all of a sudden we hear my cousin (who's 5) just start screaming from the half bathroom we had by our living room. She comes flying out of the bathroom, pants around her ankles with tears just streaming down her face. She had shut the door behind her and keeps pointing at the door. I was the first one to her, so after I had hugged her and got her semi calmed down, I opened the bathroom door. Only to have a wet squirrel run across my foot!!! I start screaming, my aunt and grandma start laughing and my dad and grandpa are running around the living room trying to catch it with my softball glove and a golf cub.
The theory is that it somehow got on the roof and down a pipe and crossed over into something else.. Heck I really don’t know how it ended up there. But Christmas doesn’t go by without someone going to the bathroom (after a little too much eggnog) and coming out laughing and telling the story all over again.

We love Christmas and I’m a follower. :D

& am celebrating Christmas this year. Best holiday memory would be the time that I saw my dad pretend to be father Christmas. He was strolling up the stairs with his hand clutching some white wool to his chin that I presumed was a "beard." Me and my mother cracked up at the sight. ;)

I celebrate Christmas. It is the best time of the year for me. It's the only time my whole family(brother and sisters) gets together under one roof. I love the decorating, the cooking, making candy and most of all enjoying my kids while they're young. We always go to my mothers on Christmas eve, my dad's on Christmas and then we all go out looking at lights. It's amazing how family can react around the holidays.

I celebrate Christmas with my family and friends.

I think the best holiday experience was when I donated my stuff to the church for an event. I don't really think about receiving gifts, as far as I know, I am very fortunate. And I want to share my blessings with less fortunate people. It makes me happy that I make other people happy.

First, I'm sorry your Cmas isn't that great this year. I hope it gets better. {{{HUGS}}}

It's kind of a sad memory, but my brother died when I was about 23 or so, in the fall, that Cmas my parents drove 4 hours to pick me up so I could spend Cmas with them. I was in a bad relationship and it meant so much that I could spend it with them and not my first husband's family who were mean and crazy.

The best Christmas so far would have to be our 5th Wedding anniversary (since we got married on Christmas day :) I had a bad year, my grandma died about a month before Christmas.

When we married, I settle for a CZ ring, because we were going to buy a real one later. Every year it got to be 'next year'. So, my husband totally surprised me with a new diamond engagement ring. I was so shocked, then I started crying. He said 'we have been married 5 years and I was tired of looking at that fake ring. I wanted you to have this.' *sobs even now* :)
